Dimensional Letters, also called raised letters or 3D letters are made from a variety of materials and in various thicknesses. Typically they would be used in lobby displays, trade-shows, and building signs. They can be made from various types of plastics, woods, metals, or foam board. They can be cut by laser or water jet; they can also be routed or molded depending on the material used and the intended use. These letters have a depth or thickness to them which give a true dimensional look to the finished sign.
